On September 17th, the 22nd China-Asean Expo grandly opened at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a pillar of China's commercial vehicle industry, Dongfeng Motor showcased three key models of its Chonglong brand, comprehensively presenting the latest achievements of Chinese commercial vehicle brands in the fields of new energy and intelligence. It outlined a brand-new picture of future smart logistics for the ASEAN market and injected solid impetus into the construction of the ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0.
As one of the large-scale automobile manufacturing enterprises in China that are closest to ASEAN, Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile has been deeply engaged in the ASEAN market for over three decades since its first batch of cargo trucks were exported to Vietnam in 1992. At present, its commercial vehicle brand "Chenglong" has covered 8 ASEAN countries including Vietnam, Laos and Thailand, fully meeting the demands of both left-hand drive and right-hand drive markets. In Vietnam, the overall market share of the Chonglong brand exceeds 35%, and in the medium truck segment, it is as high as 70%. In 2024, the export volume will reach 6,900 units. In Laos, medium-duty truck products have long held the top position in the market. In the passenger vehicle sector, "Dongfeng Fengxing" has also successfully entered markets such as Cambodia and the Philippines, initially forming an international export pattern of "dual development of commercial and passenger vehicles and dual-wheel drive".

The Changle Yiwei 5 pure electric tractor is the first fully forward-developed new energy heavy-duty truck platform product of Changle. As a representative of multi-scenario transportation solutions for efficient wealth creation, the Sinotruk H7 Pro 6x2 cargo truck, with its powerful 350 horsepower, ultra-low fuel consumption of 21 liters per 100 kilometers, extremely lightweight design and comfortable driving experience, provides high-quality transportation equipment that combines feasibility and operational efficiency for ASEAN customers.
The Changle Yiwei 2 pure electric light truck (export type), tailor-made for the ASEAN market, has attracted much attention. This model is specially designed for right-hand drive countries such as Thailand and Malaysia. It is equipped with a large-capacity battery from CATL and dual-lens 2C ultra-fast charging technology. With a combined range of 450 kilometers, it can easily handle urban and rural transportation in Southeast Asia. It is suitable for scenarios such as urban distribution and cold chain transportation, fully demonstrating Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile's determination and strength to deeply cultivate the ASEAN market and support the development of local green transportation.
